Electrocardiogram (EKG)
As part of our diagnostic services, we offer electrocardiograms (EKG), a routine test used to evaluate the electrical activity of the heart. An electrocardiogram provides the physician with important information about the heart’s rhythm and function, helping identify potential abnormalities. During the test, electrodes are placed on the chest, arms, and legs to detect the heart’s electrical impulses. The EKG machine records these signals and produces a graphical representation of the heart’s electrical activity. The results are then reviewed and interpreted by our Internal Medicine physician to identify any findings that may require further evaluation.
EKG services are available on monday and wednesday by appointment only. Outside the designated hours, EKGs required for surgery or other procedures may be coordinated with the Primary Care Team nurse.
Your health and the health of your family are our priority.
